My monitor is being repaired (hopefully), so I'm using this ol' CRT in the meantime. It's been a while since I used one these at home, it's damn big!

Thanks :D The problem is not actually with the monitor, but the speakers on it. They can't be taken off though, so the whole thing had to be taken to the shop.

They're damn big and if you don't have a good refresh rate they are a source for migraines. Be careful with that.

What's a good refresh rate? Hopefully I won't be using this much longer. I can't stare at it for too long though, my eyes don't like it..

85 or 100hz is a good refresh rate (or anything higher). If you can get that then you'll notice a great difference if 60hz is what you've been using so far.
