the gtk/metacity (is it metacity they use for wm still?) theme and icons and the background work so well here, obviously. well done.
The dock isn't all that bad, you should see what they have done with notify osd. It's huge, and with this wall (or anything brown or orange) it looks a bit like a piece of.. ya know. It can look good though, but you need a wall with muted colors.
I'll try to install the one from the crunchbang repo. That'll surely break things.
